Ganav by TaskLive · Governance-grade accounting · Built for India and the UAE

Books you can trust. A practice you can run.

Ganav is the multi-company accounting platform where every entry is reviewed, every action is on the record, and AI does the data entry. It comes with GST and TDS for India, VAT for the UAE, a full CA-practice suite and live Tally and Zoho connectors, so switching is a bridge, not a cliff. The name comes from the Sanskrit root gaṇ: to count and compute.

  • Maker–Checker governance
  • Immutable audit trail
  • GST · TDS · Payroll
  • Multi-company
  • Tally and Zoho connectors
Ganav: a bill becomes a coded, Maker-Checker-Approver reviewed journal, and the Month-End Board shows every client company's close on one screen

Sound familiar?

Your books deserve better than a single-window ledger and a spreadsheet of controls.

Ganav fixes all four, without asking you to abandon what works today.

  • You have outgrown Tally: one company per window, no real approvals, no cross-client view.
  • Your team types every bill by hand, and month-end is a scramble over email and WhatsApp.
  • An auditor asks “who approved this?” and the honest answer is nobody had to.
  • Switching tools feels like ripping out the floor while you are standing on it.

One platform, three strengths

Three things Ganav combines.

01

Trust by design

Every financial action runs through Maker–Checker–Approver with segregation of duties, and lands in an insert-only audit trail. Eleven locked business rules are enforced in the database itself, not just the screen.

02

Less data entry

Drop a bill or a bank statement into the AI Document Inbox. Ganav reads it, codes it, checks it for duplicates, detects TDS withheld, capital expenditure and reverse-charge cases, and hands you a review-ready draft journal. Government IDs in the text are masked before any AI model sees them.

03

Runs the whole firm

For CA and accounting practices: monthly engagement cycles, a cross-company query inbox that emails from your own mailbox, a client portal, and a WhatsApp Business channel where a client's photo of a bill lands in the inbox already coded. Partners see every client's close on one board.

We meet you where you are

Migration should not be a leap of faith.

Ganav connects to your existing Tally through a small on-premises agent. It pulls ledgers and parties, imports net opening balances per ledger and ties them out to the paisa before anything posts, replays a full year of vouchers, and keeps both systems in step. One agent serves every Tally on the machine, so a firm can migrate its whole client list with one install. On a real firm's migration, all 104 ledgers tied Tally's own trial balance exactly.

Already on Zoho Books? Ganav becomes your governed book of record and mirrors transactions out with the exact GST split.

Early access

Ganav Audit: the audit file that runs like an engagement.

A separate application for statutory audits: acceptance, applicability, planning, fieldwork with self-computing reconciliations, CARO and IFC, opinion and report issuance behind a 46-check quality gate. An independence wall means the audit app can never read the books it audits.

Who it is for

Two kinds of customer, one tenant each.

Growing businesses

Services, consultancies, agencies, professional firms, holding companies, NGOs and non-inventory trading. Governance, multi-branch books and real reports.

CA and accounting firms

Run every client's month-end, queries, WhatsApp channel and portal from one place, on a tenant that is yours alone: own database, own encryption keys, on every plan.

Partner programme for CA firms

Tied out to the paisa before anything posts

Getting live.

1

Company wizard

A company wizard that asks the questions Tally asks.

2

Reconciled migration

Opening balances tied out per ledger and a full year of vouchers replayed.

3

Help inside the app

Twenty-six “How Ganav works” articles, and support tickets raised without leaving your books.

4

Safe upgrades

Pre-swap validation and one-command rollback. A typical pilot is thirty days with one real company migrated in.

Questions

Common questions about Ganav.

Do we have to leave Tally to use Ganav?

No. Ganav connects to your existing Tally through a small on-premises agent, ties opening balances out to the paisa before anything posts, replays a full year of vouchers and keeps both systems in step while you move.

Is our firm's data kept separate from other firms?

Yes. Every firm gets its own isolated tenant with its own database and its own encryption keys, on every plan.

What does the AI see?

Ganav uses two AI providers, Claude and India-hosted Sarvam, switchable per company and per task. Government IDs in the text of a document are masked before any AI model sees them.

What is Ganav built on?

Built on .NET 10 and SQL Server. Ganav is hosted on Microsoft Azure in India and run by BLS Software, a Microsoft Indirect Reseller.

Where do pricing, comparisons and the roadmap live?

On the Ganav site at www.ganav.ai. This page is an overview; the product site carries pricing, the trust centre, comparisons and the roadmap.
